© 2019 by Marie Stone-van Vuuren

Marie Stone-van Vuuren’s vibrant and dreamlike art invites us to wonder, reflect, and invent stories of the hidden and imagined. Her passion for the often-unsung splendors of our planet, transports us to a place where animals and insects connect with our human experience in unexpected ways.

Fueled by her love of classic children’s book illustrations and expressionist art, her ideas are sparked by music, film, nature and process. Marie works primarily in pen and ink, watercolor, and graphite.

Her studio is based in Greensboro, North Carolina where she is also co-owner, art and music director of SV2 Studios, a film/post production company.
